Policies & Procedures

  • New Client Intake forms-
All new client intake forms must be filled out and approved before any and all services are performed.

  • Waiver of Liability-
All waivers must be signed and approved prior to date of first service received. Each dog must be listed separately on these forms.

  • Medical Power of attorney-
This form must be completed and approved before any grooming or boarding services are performed. Each dog must be listed separately on these forms.

  • Behavior-
All dogs must be non-aggressive toward other dogs and humans. Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior toward any person or other dogs. Your dogs will be spending time with others and the safety and health of the pack is our main priority.

  • Drop Off/Pick Up/Reservations/Cancellations-
Drop off and pick up times may vary from client to client. Drop off and Pick up of your dogs must occur during business hours unless other arrangements have been made with owner/operator, Shani Simonds.
Our regular business hours are as follows:
    Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm *Winter Hours* (September 15th-March 15th)
    Sunday-Saturday 9am-5pm *Summer Hours* (March 16th-September 14th)
We have a 24 hour cancelation prior notice. If for any reason you wish to cancel and do not give prior notice no refunds will be given. If you are more than 1 hour late picking up your dog you will be subject to an additional fee of $35. If you are more than 2 hours late picking up your dog an overnight boarding fee of $65 will be charged and must be paid immediately. All reservations must be paid in full 24 hours prior to drop off or at the time of drop off.
Owners must provide written authorization to allow anyone besides themselves or their spouse to pick up their pet. These persons will be required to provide valid photo identification at time of pickup to ensure the safety of your pet.
Reservations are required for all boarding stays and must be paid in full no later than time of drop off. We will require a deposit for all overnight, weekly, and monthly stay reservations. This deposit will be half the value of the total stay amount.

  • Health and Vaccinations-
If for any reason your dogs are showing signs of illness, i.e. vommiting, diarrhea, coughing, wheezing, they will not be accepted into the facility. All clients must provide a copy of all current vaccinations prior to date of first service. The overall health of our clients is our number one priority. Keeping your dogs up to date on vaccines and making sure they are in good health before socialization helps ensure we all have productive days at "the sPaw".
All dogs must be in good health and free of fleas and ticks. Please contact your veterinarian for proper flea prevention. If your dog has fleas upon arrival or if fleas are found during their stay owners and/or emergency contacts will be contacted to remove the dog from our facility. Your dog will be isolated until they are retrieved. I will be administering a flea/tick bath immediately and pawrents will be responsible for an additional bathing charge of $50.

  • Medications & Treatments-
For our boarding clients, medications and treatments can be administered. We require original veterinary paperwork printed clearly with proper dosage and pets name. Vitamins and supplements can be given in the proper dosages as recommended by your veterinarian. All arrangements for these medications must be made through our client portal and approved prior to drop off.

  • Leashes and Collars-
All dogs must be leashed at time of drop off and pick up. This is to ensure your dogs safety as well as the safety of all other clients. Dogs must have a reliable collar at all times.

  • Spay/Neuter-
Here at "the sPaw" we strongly encourage all pet owners to spay/neuter their pets. Any pet that is not spayed/neutered will not be allowed to socialize with our community. In addition they will not have access to indoor or outdoor community play areas.

  • Feeding-
If you would like your dogs to be fed during day stays and overnight stays we request that you bring their regular food with you to avoid any digestive issues. Your dog's food should be clearly labeled with their name and feeding instructions. I will have "house dog food" on hand should your pet run out during their stay. Please note that while we are using premium dog food with mild ingredients, changing your dog's diet will most likely result in stomach distress so we urge you to provide their regular food. Should we be required to purchase your dog's regular food, we are happy to do so, however, we will include a 30% service fee for such service. Please make sure your pets allergies are clearly listed in our client files.

  • Payments and Fees-
Payments are expected at time services rendered. We accept all major credit cards through our booking site and although this is our preffered method of payment we also accept cash. Any returned item is subject to an automatic $40 fee. Outstanding invoices will be assessed a late fee of $40 for every 30 days overdue. Clients with outstanding charges will not be able to book any stays or grooming services until balances are paid in full. If a client is frequently delinquent, pre-payment of all services will be required.

  • "sPaw Packages"-
All "sPaw packages" are non-refundable aside from extraordinary circumstances as determined by the business owner(s). In order to qualify for package rates all packages must be paid in full to receive redeemable coupons. All "sPaw packages" must be redeemed within one calendar year from date of purchase.

  • Risks and Safety-
Owners understand that off-leash socialization and interaction between dogs are encouraged. Owners also acknowledge that all dogs are unpredictable in behavior, are aware of the risks involved, and assume all risks holding Wolf's Den Inn & sPaw harmless in such instances.
In order to maintain a safe play environment for all clients, any pet that misbehaves or any dog who is overstimulated will be given a time-out from the common areas of the facility. If frequent incidents occur we may ask that your pet not return to Wolf's Den Inn & sPaw. Owners may NOT let their dogs into any gated area of Wolf's Den Inn & sPaw and all dogs must have prior authorization to be with our other clients.

  • What to bring when boarding-
Please bring leash, collar, any food or treats (NO RAWHIDES, GREENIES, OR BULLY STICKS), and any approved medications that need to be given during the duration of your pets stay. We supply beds and dishes. Please do not bring dihses, beds, blankets, toys, or anything that you would prefer not to have destroyed, lost, or peed upon. Wolf's Den Inn & sPaw will not be responsible for any items on the 'do not bring' list.
